We're two girls wrapping up law school who can't believe we are about to become lawyers. But that is okay, because we go to school in New York and have the amazing opportunity to explore the city while we're still here.
We met during our first year volunteering to research enforced disappearances together, found out we would both be working in Asia that summer, and traveled all over Malaysia and Cambodia together, getting dirty, sweaty, and slightly ill in the process while blogging about our adventures here and here.
Since we've been back, we've grown closer over our love of urban exploration, food and city blogs, and trying to overcome our mutual indecisiveness to decide where to explore next. We enjoy eating everything New York City has to offer, from $1 duck tacos off the street in Flushing to a Top Chef contestant's new restaurant. We've also made a goal this semester to start cooking more for ourselves...though it may not be quite as delicious as what we've eaten around town.
We brainstormed the idea of this blog after a chilly afternoon spent at Essex Street Market eating delicious tacos, cheese sandwiches, and cinnamon donuts, and picking up fresh pork chops to attempt to cook later this week.
